Good Shepherd Catholic School’s 5th Annual Tag Sale is Saturday, September 11th from 8a.m. - 4p.m. on the West playground. We are located at 620 Elizabeth Street. Lots of amazing items….furniture, sporting goods, household items, appliences, baby items, jewelry, china and more!
We are accepting items for donation on Friday, September 10th - All Day!!
When: Saturday August 21st – from 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Where: On Adams Street between 10th and 11th in Congress Park
Come celebrate the last joyous days of summer with all your Congress Park neighbors. You won’t want to miss the party of the year, complete with food, music, friends and of course… a slip ‘n slide and castle!
Entertainment!
We have reserved both a bouncy slip ‘n slide (complete with splash pool) for the older kids (and adults!) and a bouncy castle for the little kids (and adults!). Please bring any lawn games you would like to share (but make sure to label them!) Bocce, cornhole, lawn darts, hula hoops – the more the merrier!
Food!
Potluck BBQ – please bring your own grilling foods, and a dish to share with all your hungry and grateful neighbors.
Dessert competition – Bring out your best Brule’s and Bundts for the tastiest competition ever!
What we need from you!
- RSVP the number of family and friends you are bringing along (bring them all!)
- Your best email address so we can send the “Official Evite” as we get closer to the date – where we all can post what we are bringing and needing (food, games, tables and chairs, grills, grilling masters)
- A suggested donation of $20 per Household to cover the costs of the permit, insurance, street barricades and bouncy fun. Please attach your donations with your RSVP. If there is any money left over, we will be starting the Adams Street Fund for future Congress Park events!

Award Winning Canine Partners Of The Rockies
Seeks Volunteer Puppy Raisers
Canine Partners of the Rockies, Inc. (CaPR) announced today it is looking for additional volunteer puppy raisers.
The base requirements for puppy raisers include raising the puppy for 18 months and attending scheduled training classes with other puppy raisers. Classes are held at the Canine Partners office and training facility located at 651 Potomac Street, Suite “E” in Aurora, CO.
Canine Partners is a non-profit Colorado organization and the recipient of the 2007 Denver Commission for People with Disabilities Service Animal Award. CaPR is also recognized for creating a patch program with the Girl Scouts to educate girls about disabilities and the supportive role of assistance dogs in the lives of people with disabilities.
Canine Partners raises, trains and places service dogs exclusively with Colorado residents who have severe mobility limitations. People’s lives are enhanced by a service dog, and the people with big hearts who raise service dogs-in-training help create that change. Raise a dog and change a life! In addition to the Farmers Market in Cherry Creek, there is another Farmers Market that occurs Sundays 9-1:00 on E.Colfax accross from the Tattered Cover. Although it is not as large as the one in Cherry Creek it offers many of the same products and is an excellent way to pick up goods for the week
