Award Winning Canine Partners Of The Rockies
Seeks Volunteer Puppy Raisers

Canine Partners of the Rockies, Inc. (CaPR) announced today it is looking for additional volunteer puppy raisers.

The base requirements for puppy raisers include raising the puppy for 18 months and attending scheduled training classes with other puppy raisers. Classes are held at the Canine Partners office and training facility located at 651 Potomac Street, Suite “E” in Aurora, CO.

Canine Partners is a non-profit Colorado organization and the recipient of the 2007 Denver Commission for People with Disabilities Service Animal Award. CaPR is also recognized for creating a patch program with the Girl Scouts to educate girls about disabilities and the supportive role of assistance dogs in the lives of people with disabilities.

Canine Partners raises, trains and places service dogs exclusively with Colorado residents who have severe mobility limitations. People’s lives are enhanced by a service dog, and the people with big hearts who raise service dogs-in-training help create that change. Raise a dog and change a life! Call 303.364.9040 to learn more about being a volunteer puppy raiser.
