Special Events and Permitting
Events are a huge part of Denver’s fabric that brings in business, tourists, etc. Denver’s special events help create a vibrant city and support Denver’s economy. But the number of events have grown and the City of Denver is reviewing its policies and procedures for how it permits and processes special events of all sizes and shapes such as festivals, street fairs, walks, runs, races, etc and the impact to neighbors, parking and road closures. The City will host four Public Meetings. At each meeting, City representatives will present an overview of the internal efforts taking place, but most importantly the City will be asking for your input. All Denver residents are encouraged to attend one of the below public meetings to discuss Special Events and Permitting.
These meeting are very important to attend and your input about how these events affect your quality of life (road closures, noise, trash) need to be shared. Please come and help to find solutions.
