The City of Denver hosted a public meeting to discuss transit improvements to Colfax avenue between I-25 and I-225.  The City and its partners on the Colfax Corridor Connections project will share the results of an environmental analysis of Bus Rapid Transit on the corridor and gather input from the community.

Many options are on the table and some plans include commuter buses down Colfax during peak times with dedicated lanes.

What are your thoughts about this? Do you think that it can cause extra traffic in neighborhoods off Colfax…16th, 14th, 13th and even further?  Do you think that it could impact our businesses — negative, positive?  What about walkability in our neighborhoods?
