Bluebird Business Improvement District (BBID) Recommendations to NPI Committee
The President of Blue Bird Improvement District, Don Novak, has sent a letter to the Neighborhood Planning Initiative (NPI) committee unanimously recommending zoning changes for business properties along E. Colfax to include:
- Apply U-MX-8 (i.e. Urban Mixed Use buildings that can be eight stories), or similar, zoning to all properties on Colfax
- Extend the current parking exemption that now exists for lots of 6,250 or less sq. ft. to the first 6,250 sq. ft. for all parcels, resulting in a smaller parking requirement for properties that have more than 6,250 sq. ft.
- Allow the use of all alleys on Colfax for business access
