If you want to help shape our neighborhood’s future, here are ways you can participate in the city’s planning process for the East Central Area. This area is comprised of the following neighborhoods: Capitol Hill, North Capitol Hill, City Park West, City Park, Cheesman Park and Congress Park.
An area-wide workshop meeting will take place Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 1370 Grant St., Denver.
A neighborhood specific meeting for residents of Congress Park and City Park will take place Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Church in the City – Beth Abraham, 1580 N. Gaylord St., Denver.

Currently Congress Park has a neighborhood plan in effect since 1995. The plan took approximately 16 months to develop and was created by residents in our neighborhood. It was subsequently adopted by City Council. Please attend these meetings, there are only 2 before the City adopts the new plan.
