Denver Water: ASR project update 10/28/2021
Good afternoon-
I am writing to you with an update about the Aquifer Storage and Recovery project that is in progress at our facility in Congress Park.
Construction is progressing, and crews are ahead of schedule. The 1,800-foot borehole has been drilled, and we are currently in the process of constructing the steel pipe casing for the monitoring well. Around-the-clock operations should be complete by early November, barring delays due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Construction activities will then only occur during the day, seven days a week, until the project is anticipated to be complete in late November.
We have posted this update on our ASR project website at denverwater.org and we have posted on our Nextdoor page for the Congress Park and Capitol Hill neighborhoods. A link to the Nextdoor post is here.
If you have questions about this project please reach out to me. I am happy to help.
Thank you,
Gianna
