01:46:07 Conclusion
One person stated he asked 50 residents and all wanted alley pickup. There are many homeowners that appreciate the nightmare in the alley picking up only the trash bin. All residents should be surveyed. Not all residents even know of the issues and folks that have a contrary opinion are ignored. I personally witnessed the dangerous conditions in the alley and the alleys were unsanitary. People dump everything and anything in the alley way. Many leave their trash bins in the alley full time. I have had problems even getting my small sedan through the alley because of the vegetation and trash bins left out continually. I have had to get out of my car and move bins out of the way just to use a public right of way to my garage located in the alley. Folks dump abandoned furniture and junk in the alley all the time hoping that someone will want these abandoned items. These items have also blocked alley use for service trucks, pedestrians, cyclists, and owners’ cars.
