Purpose of meeting to select officers for 2024.

Motion from Maggie to retain officers in their existing roles.  All agrees to continue. Motion passed.

Wendy asked those attending if they would approach the new businesses in the neighborhood and offer

them a free business card sized ad in the newsletter.

Neighbors will be gathering Feb 1 at house of COPA to discuss making the neighborhood safer in

regards to the changes BRT will bring with changing traffic patterns.

The point was made that the BRT project will no doubt make Colfax a safer travel corridor, it will be at

the expense of the surrounding neighborhood.  Vicki asked that we not use the phrase “blood on their hands” as it has been a trigger in past meetings regarding safety.  Various ideas about gathering information from neighbors were discussed and it was determined another survey would be in order.
