Minutes of Congress Park Neighbors Meeting February 15, 2023 7pm

Attendance:  Vicki Eppler, Tom Conis, Maggie Price, Wendy Moraskie, Tim Hoffman, Judith Spiegel, Bryan Wilson, Barbara Davis, Karen Miller, Maria Flores, Kyle Rose, Penfield Tate, Judith Cohen, Kenneth Ho, Dan Artiges, Carolyn Vine, Anna McCaffrey, Myles Tangalin, Sarah Komppa, Porter Bennett, Dina Bleecker, John Yongshewski, Mary Ellen Sweeney, Nora Kelly, Pilar Baca, Harch, 7208877389

Vicki Eppler called the meeting to order at 7pm and made a statement about what a RNO is and how ours functions,  CPN has been in existance for over 40years with an all volunteer board.  Also advised that the meeting will be recorded and to direct questions to the chat after the presentations.

Kenneth Ho of Westside Development gave a presentation with a slide show on Westside’s vision for the Park Hill Golf Course, and answered followup questions.

Penfield Tate of Save Open Space gave a presentation with a slide show on their vision for the Park Hill Golf Course, and answered followup questions.

The future of the the Golf Course will be decided by ballot issue 2O  at the April 2023 election,

Penfield Tate also gave a brief synopsis of his campaign issues for his run at City Council At Large position.

Tim Hoffman, also running for City Council At Large introduced himself and spoke about citywide issues that he hopes to address if elected in April.

Sarah Parady, the third candidate for the At Large position was scheduled but did not appear.

Vicki made announcements that our next meeting would be April 19, 2023, and we are hoping to host a District 10 candidate forum mid March, and were waiting to hear back from Chris Hinds on his availability.
