Myles opened the meeting by introducing Dr. Jodie Slate who gave a presentation of the internal process of 911. Explained when 911 should be called and spoke about what is being done to reduce hold times.

Hana Ruiz, District 2 Denver Police Dept. gave updates on crime in the neighborhood and according to info compiled it is down 34 percent this period.

Matt Fariss, DOTI,  gave an update on the four phases of the stormwater improvements happening in Congress Park.  Fourteenth Avenue will be closed for 4 months, and Thirteenth will be closed for 3 months.  Project runs from November 2023 to January 2025.  Matt advised what the reroutes/detours  would be and gave information on how to stay informed of the program progress.  Virtual public meeting November 9 at noon.
