About the Project
Through the Denver Moves planning process, Denver Public Works is prioritizing multimodal north/south movement between City Park and the Cherry Creek Trail. As part of this initiative, Garfield Street has been identified to be developed as a neighborhood bikeway.
Improvements will include:
· Upgraded curbs, drainage and sidewalks
· New signal at 6th Ave and signal upgrades at 1st Ave
· Roadway striping and signage for cyclists and motorists
· Enhanced bicycle markings
