In 2017, Denver’s city planners gathered input from residents, business owners and other community stakeholders to help draft a vision for the East Central Area neighborhoods. In 2018, all the comments and ideas that community members have provided will start to take shape into a shared community vision for each planning area.
The City of Denver is creating a plan for the East Central Area, which includes the neighborhoods along Colfax Avenue between Broadway and Colorado Boulevard. The City needs your help establishing the community’s vision for the next 20 years. Your participation is crucial for making sure the plan truly reflects the community’s hopes for the future.

The Game Plan (Denver Parks and Recreation’s visioning plan), as part of the Denveright initiative (www.denvergov.org/denveright) needs public input! We are at an exciting phase of the Game Plan as we are now looking forward to the future of Denver Parks and Recreation. Building off the previous community feedback, analysis of the existing system and national trends, we will focus on the completed analysis and preview draft opportunities for the future at these meetings. Each meeting will have Spanish interpretation available.
The Cherry Creek Greenway Implementation Plan is seeking ways to celebrate and enhance the Creek as a recreational, environmental, and natural resource for the Cherry Creek Area and Denver, focusing on the portion of the Greenway between University and Colorado Boulevards. As part of the initial phase of this planning effort, the project team is seeking your input on how the Greenway fits into your daily life and how you think it could be improved.
